1 cup dry rolled oats
3-4 cups of water (4 cups for looser milk, 3 cups for thicker milk)
Optional (but would be delicious inside): dates or maple syrup for sweetener, a pinch of salt (if you choose to sweeten), and a splash of vanilla.
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until combined. Do not overblend, or milk will become clumpy.
Strain with a nutmilk bag or cheese cloth (optional) and store in a jar. Will keep for 3-5 days.
Pico de Gallo:
3 ripe tomatoes
Half of a red onion
3 cloves of garlic
salt & pepper to taste
Chop all the ingredients and combine in a mixing bowl.
Add lime, salt, and pepper to taste.
Will keep for 2-3 days.
