I wanted to share my six most common self care techniques with you today.
Meditating: my favorite meditation app is called Stop, Breathe & Think. I try to meditate at least two times a day (morning and night), and find that it’s an amazing way to curb anxiety and remind myself not to sprint through life.
Walking: something about being in nature cleanses my spirit. Be one with the Earth, and get outside! Get some fresh air!
Singing: singing is actually my favorite hobby, ever. A good Taylor Swift karaoke session never hurts.
Exercising: release those endorphins! Whenever I’m mad or frustrated, I like to run outdoors, or on a treadmill and get all of the negative energy out of there.
Journaling: taking some time to unload your heart never hurts. Although I don’t journal every day, I find that if my mind is particularly heavy that day, letting some of the steam off doesn’t hurt.
Petting Animals: because cats.
